Haley graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in philosophy, politics, and economics. Haley has written and published original psychology articles for the DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) Bulletin and is currently generating new work on topics like the development of skills for emotion regulation in both everyday life and performance settings. Haley’s five years of experience as a high school basketball coach at Riverdale and Dobbs Ferry and her work to co-found a basketball club team at Penn has enabled her to engage with and build a supportive/team-based work ethic with students on and off the court. Haley’s work as a psychology teacher at Riverdale Country School, biology teacher’s assistant, and tutor at UPenn has also afforded her the opportunity to work on a wide range of STEM topics with students of all ages and proficiencies. Haley’s tutoring style, informed by her work as a teacher and coach, involves collaboration and positive engagement to encourage her students’ progress from start to finish.
