Julie graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.M in Voice and Opera Performance, a minor in theatre, and an M.M in Opera Performance. For eight years, Julie served as Adjunct Professor at both Webster University and St. Louis University and operated an independent music studio for high schoolers, guiding students to craft applications and portfolios within the arts as well as for other competitive disciplines such as business. As a contributor for an arts magazine, Julie has also utilized her passion for writing and journalism to publish several pieces on topics ranging from music technique to the economics of the arts industry. Most recently, she served on the leadership team and faculty for a college and career intensive seminar hosted by Northwestern University, working with high schoolers, incoming Northwestern students, and current undergraduate and graduate students studying at Northwestern and other elite US universities. Julie’s unique background as a performer, teacher, professor, and writer—combined with her energetic spirit, organization, and drive for excellence—has allowed her to help students share their admissions voices in a structured yet supportive environment and ultimately gain admission to top colleges.
